      Pros

      -Remote and Hybrid Options -Good Benefits -Some Flexibility in schedules

      Cons

      -Subpar pay (for the amount of work your expected to do) -Upper management only sees data, not the people that work for them. -Upper management creates fake problems to solve to look like a hero -Blatant favoritism -No advancement opportunities for CA employees due to cost -Exhaustive communication review overload with understaffed teams. -Gaslighting is insane -Unrealistic expectations to finish workload leaves us scrambling at the end of each month -Hard to take what little PTO we earn -Managers spout that accountability is being held but anyone can see the inconsistencies in certain team members on a monthly basis. -Upper management doesn’t listen to their employees and is completely unapproachable

What you describe is not indicative of the culture we are trying to build nor the work environment we are committed to fostering.       Benefits that's about it, it is super inexpensive.

      the upper ups are all just looking out for each other and not the employees. Delayed commissioned in two occasions when I was there, in one of the occasions there was an email sent to the sales floor on a Monday giving us life lessons from a vacation taken in Montana while Golfing. The same week our commission was delayed. The products available are little to none, they will tell you they are working on getting new products, but it seems to always get delayed. They pay you 15 bps per loan which is probably the lowest in the mortgage industry, The products are overpriced and most "members" will shop you and go elsewhere once Sofi denies matching or beating an offer. Benefits are great but prepare to work double when you comeback from a doctor's appointment. All files are outsourced to loan fulfillment, you will get several processors assigned to the file at different times and begin the process all over again due to the neglect of each processor. Sofi will still blame you for having files drop when you had all your ducks in a row. They will feed you in office, but that's because you are getting paid pennies.

We are very sorry to hear your time at SoFi did not meet your expectations. While we're happy you enjoy some of the benefits we offer employees, your other comments are not indicative of the environment we are working hard to create. We know the current market is making this job even more difficult, but let us assure you - leadership is aware of these challenges and are doing everything in their power to improve. For example, leadership is having regular round table discussions with the team to understand concerns, and has action plans in place to address them. Additionally, our current fulfillment vendor is staffing up and making changes so they can best support us. Thanks again for the review, and best of luck.
