Pros

No mandated OT. Cost of living increase each year for employees. Telework option. No weekends

Cons

Back to back calls with ZERO breaks in between calls to even breathe, sneeze or take a sip of water. Flawed and outdated policies. 80% of callers are irate callers. FO and processing center works very slow to resolve issues. Micromanaging by upper management. Extremely hard to get promoted out of the caller center.

Pros

Helping people in need and working with vulnerable population

Cons

worst culture, overwork people and have them do the work of the people that they want to promote, a lot of nepotism, worst agency with worst culture, worst management, full of loyalists all over the agency so no changes ever, no career growth because they will stop you every chance they get unless you are part of the group that they like, You don't have to know the job. You will get promoted if they want to.

Pros

You can get time off as needed & teamwork between co-workers. Hopefully, the new Commissioner will boost morale and bring much-needed help.

Cons

The lack of proper training and the fact that the agency chooses to be unaccountable to address the discrepancy in real-time. Also, customer service representatives should be doing their job and parts of other programs if they won't be compensated like the claims representatives, especially if they're not appropriately trained.
