Pros
Free food. Nice people. Cookouts. Close to my apartment. Holiday parties. That'd really it to be honest.
Cons
Where do I begin, the base pay is only $8 an hour. You get additional money based on sales, clocking in and clocking out , and basically if management likes you. The song on the website is a lie the highest I've ever made at softrock was $13 an hour, which does not equal 45000 and 50000 per year. I remember when I used to have to beg for them to give me the money that I earned just so I would not get evicted from my apartment but they didn't care. Even if you came to work late because there's an accident or came back from lunch late they would take money out of your check up to $100. I was a top-performing advisor and very loyal employee, yes I would fear every Friday because I know that I will not be getting paid money that I deserved. On top of the pain being a lie I felt so sad for the people that we were tricking to sign up to talk to school. Most people just want to find a job and do not want to further their education and there is nothing wrong with that but it was our job to make them feel guilty and go through with it anyway period many sleepless nights. I heard this place shut down and it's for the best. The CEO never even acknowledge me because I wasn't a pretty blonde girl. Only thing I learned from here was that I would never fall for a scam company that promise is your income based off commission.
