Pros

Nice people and a chance to work with a lot of companies in a short time. They don’t sell products to clients, they sell developers. Which is nice in ways because the client chooses to work with you so you don’t feel like sales sold the client some unrealistic expectations. They try to have opportunities to interact with others in the company since you won’t be able to get comfortable with the people you work with day to day. You get paid more if you work more than forty hours, though not as much as the first forty hours per hour if you include benefits, so using that time to save up pto is a better choice for the employee economically. But at least they give something if you do work extra, and they don’t make you work extra.

Cons

There is no assurance, protection or protocol given if you are mistreated by a client. Most clients are fine but if you get a toxic environment the client comes first. You are the product and they will sell you where it makes business sense to sell you. Interviews with their clients are one sided- normally in interviews you get to interview companies as well, but here they have all the leverage because you can’t say no. Sometimes you might get a client that has frequent day long meetings with little value and you have to sit through it. Not a ton of pto given.
