Toxic place, not good for mental health

Sabbatical, Wednesday lunch, Snacks, and breakfast, Gym, Salary

Cons

- Personal ties are frequently prioritized over actual talent and merit - especially in internal hiring. HR & recruiters are not honest and unclear about so many processes. - This office has an absolute capacity to degrade your mental health - Very superficial people are creating a rotten work culture. - Extreme-level politics are not to your face, but they exist very much. - poor manager (worst), no accountability, and no support. 'figure it out' pathetic attitude. - Marketing is filled with broken processes. I could not believe such a big company is operating/functioning like a 2-year-old business. - Favoritism - irrespective of you being good at your job. You must socialize and become a favorite to stay here. - It is bad for personal growth as only favorite people will climb the ladder.

"if you are old in the company, professional and expert, SolarWinds is not place for you.

Pros

It used to be good place polish your skills and learn from expert colleagues and leaders but unfortunately not anymore.

Cons

It is not good place anymore, toxic , bullying , micro management, poor leadership skills, no plans , no hierarchy respect ..managers don’t know what they want, they ask you for forecast and then they want to be sales reps on the same time they blame you for all their mistakes.

"Kowtowing Required to Secure Your Job"

Working at this company has taken a disappointing turn. In the past, the workplace had a more respectful atmosphere. However, under the new management, it's become increasingly apparent that success hinges on who you know and how well you can appease the CEO's PluseSecure team. The previous management, unconventional as they may have been, at least provided a clear vision for the company's future. We all had a shared understanding of our goals and objectives. Sadly, that transparency has been replaced with ambiguity. Now, it feels like one must constantly navigate office politics and be well-connected with the CEO's friends just to maintain job security. This has had a detrimental impact on the overall professionalism within the organization. It's a far cry from the company I initially joined, and it's become disheartening to see how the culture has changed.
