Pros

I don't work there anymore

Cons

-No work life balance. You will be asked to work before and after your normal hours daily. -End of month/quarter you will be "asked" to work through your lunch and then shamed if you decide not to. -Favoritism determines the best leads -Promotion is next to impossible: there are people who do over 100% for years and are still in their same position -Everything is your fault: customer doesn't want to buy because you bullied them? You didn't show them the value. Customer can't but today? You didn't make the discounts real. -Your PTO will go to waste. Managers will ignore the PTO request email so you can't book a trip or plan anything effectively. Don't get sick, get married, have a baby, have an appointment, etc. You will get grilled to no end. -Don't let there be bad weather either. Last year when the city was shut down we got an email around noon from the CEO saying the roads were "driveable" now so everyone come into the office. -You will work a full day the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and stay late on New Year's Eve. You will also not be allowed to take extra days off around those days. - Aside from holidays 1st week of month, last week of month, 1st week of quarter, last MONTH of quarter; (March, June, September, December) are off limits. Most "important" time of the year -Micro-manage is an understatement. Touch every deal, every day, 40 dials, etc. Reports will get hurled at you all day to validate your lack of performance. If you are at 100% you could be at 150% if you just made an extra 20 calls. - The "model" is just beating up customers for a deal today. Offer them a discount to buy by Friday but call them and ask them to do it today, every day. Call their office..if they do not answer send them an email..if they do not respond call their cell phone..if they do not answer send them a text. All before lunch - Call purchasing departments directly. Tell them the end user submitted the quote for approval and you HAVE to have it today, even if the quote is good through end of week. If they do not know about it, send them a quote and try to get them to order anyways. Can't count the number of times an end use called me back angry that I went around them

Pros

That is just the best place I ve worked so far. My manager was great, trainning was great. Atmosphere and opportunities were amazing. You have to be a hard worker and go getter or you wont fit there. Fast paced and fun place. free lunch - snacks - drinks. Great place, great team. I am sad to leave

Cons

really hard to think about that but ... Too much free food? Trainning could ve been better organized, but still, awesome!

Pros

Coming in touch with lot of technologies and learning a lot. But of course, it all depends on the team you belong to. Some teams have great people, friendly, knowledgeable, smart and who want to share, some other teams are just crap. Relaxing room with table soccer, ping pong, xbox

Cons

The management is not technical, so decisions are not following the job requirements. They just pushed to take more calls and tickets to make customers happy, but they didn't realize that tech support is not a call centre and that to investigate issues and resolve problems to make customers happy requires time. Really low salary in relation to the job requirement and performance. 30.000 kc for a technical support, when other simple customer cares with no technical knowledge, earn the same in the same city. Management and HR not open to suggestions or critics. When you say something that is different from the rest they try to push you back and fire you. They insert you into a performance program and then they try to fire you will lies and illegal ways. They tried to fire a person because he went on paternity leave. This is against the law. Management decided that some person was not good for the team and the work, just based on personal feelings and preferences. That person first got performance awards, but then they decided that person was not good, that was bringing bad energy into the team and had to be put under the performance review program. HR always on the side of the incapable management, instead of objectively analyze the issue. Finally, 5 people left the team, as consequence of the bad management. But the company won't admit it. So one manager and one HR went both on maternity leave. Finally the tech support in Brno was shut down.
