Management is extremely short term driven-they have blinders on. They would rather take $10 today then $100 tomorrow. This cojones to the wall approach only works for small startups, not 1000+ employee companies. If you disagree with them, you are publicly ridiculed and eventually pushed out either passive aggressively- through pay cuts, promotion denials, etc. If you're in the boys or girls club, take your beating like a good boy/girl and kiss heini, you will get promoted.

So. Very. Hectic. Most of the time things are done on a very short schedule with geographically disparate teams which makes it hard to maintain quality, so we're having to move EVEN FASTER to get things done. Sometimes it feels like a never ending slog. God help you if you're in Marketing with the near constant re-orgs. Substandard PTO for the rank and file - management is out of touch since they get vastly more time and can assign work to others. You end up paying for your time off in all the extra work waiting for you and it feels like you can never catch up.
