Pros

The pros are.... Opportunities..Do you want to work in a fast paced professional inside sales organisation? Do you want to earn a basic salary of 30K and an OTE of 60K with uncapped earning potential, VHI for you and family/partner. Free parking,Gym, Commission and Pension? SolarWinds are growing at 30% a year and the EMEA centre of excellence in Cork is expanding. SolarWinds are in aggressive acquisition mode. Sales fuels this growth and growth equals job satisfaction, Job security and Opportunity.

Cons

It is the hardest "Sales Gig" in town and is not for the faint hearted.Training and induction consists of 1 week....Hey we're getting better :)The Sales Managers will push you to reach your potential and targets over and beyond. They will push you to the limit and you will reap the rewards. SolarWinds Reward Success. It is not for everyone and our recruitment process is now stringent, comprehensive and detailed...I know because I am the recruiter for Solarwinds. Remember ...Its not for the faint hearted but its the best sales gig for the best ISRs in town

Pros

- Lots of bonuses - The pressure makes you bond with Colleagues and there are some really fantastic people in the office - Ability to earn far more than OTE - IF you are liked enough by senior management or they want to hold you up as a good example of "the model in motion"

Cons

- Bullying, belittling, badgering senior Management who believe man management means threatening staff with the sack. - Attitude comes from the very top down so not going to change while C levels remain - Office atmosphere is toxic to say the least when things are not going well. God forbid a senior manager might be on the verge of losing a bonus! Heaven forfend a zero goes missing in their salary! If a senior manager is not getting paid well, they will take their pound of flesh from the poor saps not hitting target - which will typically be the newer people. - No training. And I do mean ZERO training. "Here is your laptop and your phone, why have you not hit your target yet?!" - Creates a real "Sink or swim (by pushing others below you and stepping on them)" attitude in some people and is actively encouraged, even rewarded. - Senior management can do no wrong. Untouchables. No accountability. - The thought process is - if it works in the US, it will work worldwide. I don't even know where to begin with this one.
