Talented team and interesting projects, but lack structure

Pros

The team had some talented people, and there were opportunities to work on interesting projects. The company also invested in team experiences and culture initiatives at times — the trip to France was a highlight and genuinely enjoyable.

Cons

My experience was impacted by a lack of structure and organization across the team. Onboarding felt minimal, which made it difficult to ramp up effectively and understand expectations early on. Workflows and processes often felt rushed or reactive, leading to confusion, shifting priorities and unnecessary inefficiencies. The environment could also feel somewhat cliquey depending on the team, which may make it harder for new employees to integrate quickly. Leadership and management practices could be improved, particularly around communication, strategic alignment and empowering employees without excessive micromanagement. The hybrid requirement of being in-office three days per week may work well for some employees, but it’s worth noting for candidates who prefer more flexibility or remote-first environments.
