Low cost ISP with a lot of problems.

Pros

They sell 10 gigabit fiber for 50 dollars a month.

Cons

Oversaturation in most of their existing areas. They are trying to offer fiber via door to door in poorer neighbor hoods which do not like door to door sales people -- Sonic's choices for offering their fiber services is not based on legitimate metrics and they have very low market penetration in these poorer neighborhoods. They have instituted health policies for their 1000+ employees based on CDC guidelines and they have ignored lots of highly respected scientists which are the top of their fields and disagree with the CDC.

Pros

Crème de la crème product and supportive management. The compensation scheme is fair and encourages top performers to give their all. Good benefits.

Cons

Success is largely beholden to the assigned territory. High frequency visits annoy prospects and are akin to reaping fields that haven't had an opportunity to regrow. Going to the same neighborhoods over and over again is mentally taxing. Sales contests are sometimes unfair because certain teams are working in saturated markets while others are in brand new territory.

Great people Great Breakroom Decent support via upper management The ability to move to a different role within the company Training was very informative and well put together. You don't read from a script like most tech support.

Cons

Pay not competitive compared to cost of living Pay increases were not keeping up with inflation Not a whole lot of room for potential growth at any position.
