Learned what to avoid in future company cultures

Cons

Too much to say but main issues stem from a mainly unqualified, defensive and closed-minded senior leadership team. Decisions are questionable, wishy washy and success is measured by who can shift the blame around fastest. In my short time here I saw almost anyone with a semblance quit once they peeled back the curtain. Prepare yourself for the defensive HR response to this post below with a veiled attempt to "do better". Don't be fooled, there is no attempt to do better, only to control the messaging and keep the delusion going.

Very kind employees and immediate management seems to care about their employees.

Cons

Does not offer sick pay separate from pto forcing people to go to work when sick, cancel hard earned vacations or go without pay. No work life balance and very long hours for branch staff. Compensation does not reflect previous experience and does not rise adequately with additional responsibilities. Does not give cost of living adjustments to all employees

Since starting with Sound Credit Union I have felt very supported by immediate management all the way up through our executive management team. I appreciate we are a company striving to do what is right for our members and our team members. We are also a company that seeks out ways to improve our company and all team members feedback is important.

Cons
