Pros

- You will not find a better company to work for that cares and invests in you both professionally and personally. - Great teamwork environment - Several company sponsored events to show their appreciation for their employees hard work. - Monthly, quarterly, and annual awards given to highlight the achievements of employees. - Leadership constantly asks for feedback and they actually listen!! - In the 3+ years I have worked here, Westlake as a whole has constantly exceeded their goals and always has new growth on the horizon.

Cons

Rapid Growth = Extremely busy and short staffed at time.

Pros

CME, in theory it should be easy to know when you are working so you can plan (but in reality, it doesn't actually happen)

Cons

Very disappointed with Sound. Staffing is a moving target. Every day is a new strategy. They sign horrible contracts that are not reasonable with the hospital, then are completely shocked when they fail. Then push all the responsibility to staff the program on their chief. They burn physicians out, then send ridiculous emails about how to avoid burn out. But the number one thing they could do to avoid burning out their physicians is staff appropriately and provide support to those physicians in understaffed programs. They didn't sign on to work 30 days a month.
