      A company of yes men and women - anything for a buck.

      Pros

      They have a reasonable projection of when you work so you can plan things in the future.

      Cons

      Poor compensation model. Addition of new product lines without appropriately compensating or obtaining discussion with physicians. Literally adds thousands of dollars a day in liability and work without any compensation over a 3 month time. No backing from the company. By far the WORST company I have ever worked for in medicine or any other field for communication. Non-existent.Zero risk for the company and all risk assumed by the physicians. STAY AWAY.

      Delivering the best care, bar none

      Pros

      Extremely quality driven organization. Performance metrics are reviewed monthly with hospital leadership team. Many of them are around stuff I had never heard of or cared about, but now see as important. Because of the emphasis on quality care, my colleagues and I see fewer patients per day than other programs; however much more is expected of us in the care we deliver. This suits me just fine.It is how I believe medicine should be practiced. Note that my program is fully staffed

      Cons

      Hospitalists are in short supply and some programs dont seem like they are fully staffed yet

      Pros

      Great energy, innovation and commitment throughout the organization to improving quality outcomes. High-growth and many opportunities to wear many hats and learn new skills. Building infrastructure in systems to improve efficiency.

      Cons

      Waited to build integrated systems a bit too long. But doing some great work that is going to make everyone's work easier from the business and clinical side.
