      Pros

      I have worked 25 years in Healthcare and have never been happier in my career than since joining Sound Physicians 6 months ago. As a remote employee they allow me the freedom to use my qualifying education and skills to analyze and action my daily responsibilities. They trust in the people they hire to do the job they are hired for without the use of micro management. In my experience my manager is there when I need her for guidance and escalation of problems. It is very liberating to feel you are truly contributing your personal skills to your company.

      Cons

      Working remotely limits my ability to form business relationships quickly outside of telecommunication.

      Pros

      I have worked for a number of major hospital systems, locums companies, and hospitalist management companies in various capacities. Sound is one of the most innovative and satisfying companies I've ever worked for, with a forward-thinking, change-embracing and warm company culture. Because of the companies explosive growth, there is ample opportunity for physicians for personal and professional growth. A frequent phrase heard around Sound is "work to live, not live to work"

      Cons

      Because of the growth, leadership takes on greater and greater responsibility. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but should be planned on if you are successful
