Pros

- Unified sense of mission - Good compensation and benefits - For the most part, smart, committed co-workers

Cons

- Old School Engineering mind set - this is the way we've always done it - New CEO doesn't really get the agency culture (yet) - Growing fast = less communication between groups

Pros

The salary and benefits package are good here.

Cons

upper management is comprised of mostly 'old school' thinking individuals whose mantra is ' that's not the way we do it here'

Transit Security

Pros

Training Pay is $13 then goes to $15.95 once training is complete 6 - 8 weeks later. Unlimited Overtime up to six days a week. Extremely veteran friendly. 60% of security is prior service it seems.

Cons

$15.95 is low for the people you have to deal with. It's a bit more intense than your average security position which seems good, but not for $15.95 when minimum wage is going up to $15 by 2017 in Seattle. Long work hours usually 12 hours at a time so stamina is a must.
