Pros

Training Pay is $13 then goes to $15.95 once training is complete 6 - 8 weeks later. Unlimited Overtime up to six days a week. Extremely veteran friendly. 60% of security is prior service it seems.

Cons

$15.95 is low for the people you have to deal with. It's a bit more intense than your average security position which seems good, but not for $15.95 when minimum wage is going up to $15 by 2017 in Seattle. Long work hours usually 12 hours at a time so stamina is a must.

Pros

Smart down to earth people, flexible work environment, great benefits (agency matches 401 contributions from employee up to a certain amount)

Cons

Agency needs stronger leadership/more skills management at all levels to resolve longtime performance problems among employees. Managers don't have the skills to bridge turf wars; department-to-department conflicts go on too long without effective & timely resolution.
