Pros

I believe I was paid relatively fairly for my role and my experience/education.

Cons

We had to work 9-6 each day (which I recognize is a relatively small complaint). The work was draining - I was on the phone almost all day with students - and I felt that the company's business model was predatory and took advantage of students who lacked an understanding of the difference between a for-profit and a non-profit institution of higher education. I felt morally compromised in my role and as if I could do very little, if anything, to actually help my students. I started looking for a new position after only a month or so in this role. It was not a good fit for me at all.

Pros

Some of the instructors actually care about students and wish to see them succeed.

Cons

No respect for employees unless they're willing to brown-nose. The department I worked for consistently received little respect from administration, and they've consistently cut the few professionals who worked in it. Apparently they think a barebones department is sufficient for students and to keep their accreditation.

Fairly well manicured lawns, that is about it. Everything else is a lie: from phony charges to discrimination and lack of resources.

Cons

Misleading information and recruitment, too expensive with poor instruction (Pellisippi much better), Racism, Felons as classmates. dismissive and bullying by administration
