Pros

set schedule Monday through Friday.

Cons

Your whole team will be working remotely and you will be the only one going into the office. They will lie and say they are trying to bring everyone back into the office then privately tell the remote employees they do not have to come into the office anymore since the newer people get to do the side tasks. The employees working remotely will take 10+ breaks a day between calls. It is a very weird, toxic, and passive aggressive work environment.

Pros

Hard to think of any honestly... I guess they do offer benefits if you frequent doctors and they'll give you paid personal leave about 2 hours for every 40 you work but has to be taken in 2 hour blocks .. and they do a weeks paid vacation but you can't use it unless you schedule your vacay in January for some time later in the year or at least 2 weeks out but not guaranteed even then.. and it cannot be scheduled for the end of any month due to deadlines.. management / hr seems to have it pretty good they (management) make about twice what an hourly can expect and only seem to do half the work.. most of them ..

Cons

Poor communication, Lack of support, No career development, Not given tools / resources that would result in more efficiency/efficacy, No bonus for people who have worked hard for years but they entice new hires with a bonuses, they mandate the ... Not allowed to work remotely despite others being allowed - even those hired much more recently - despite everything being done via computer including conversations with other employees in the office cubicle next to you.. the union (should you choose to become a paying member or not) will not have your back if you have any grievance - legitimate or not but they will never fail to collect and will always fail to take your call and its not even clear that they do actively negotiate for you it mostly seems like the contract they "negotiate" benefits SSA and the Union and its worded in such a way it allows them to interpret in a way that's favorable to SSA and the Union as opposed to the employee.. its very corporate and policies don't seem to apply to everyone .. half hour lunch break is over before you know it.. break room is lacking unless you like vending machine / processed foods .. they monitor everything you do (screens, key loggers, the whole nine).. micromanage.. your boss probably won't be capable of doing your job or answering your questions should you have any.. only noticed if you make an error .. not acknowledged for doing more than your share .. not allowed to work overtime .. expected to absorb more responsibilities without any change in compensation or promotion.. you will only see your wage increase by .50 cents annually which doesn't keep pace with normal rate of inflation let alone what has been happening as of covid. they claim to want you to get a complete understanding of the business but compartmentalize the departments making that difficult.. they also claim to be "a family" but didn't feel like that .. unless you were actually family there's quite a bit of that.. or maybe they mean like the dysfunctional type of family .. either way how they put it in the job description is just corporate lip service ..
