Pros

Management is interested in the success of their employees and of the business. Everyone works very hard, at all levels, in all departments. The benefits are great - especially 401k and tuition reimbursement.

Cons

The health insurance benefit offerings are very limited.

Pros

Smart, professional, hardworking, down to earth, and effective leadership. Excellent pay.

Cons

Miscommunication, inefficiencies, and underdeveloped processing systems hurt intergroup collaboration. Very much a barebones operation, but improving.

So many problems

Pros

Pay and benefits are great

Cons

Poor management and favoritism. You’re solely judged on how well liked you are to become eligible for promotions. Promotions are given to people who are liked rather than who deserves it. At this plant, there is no room to grow, everyone in management positions are young enough to give out another 20 years of services. Another flaw is from the start you’re told to say something if you see something but, piece of advice, don’t speak up just keep your head down. If you speak up about a co worker that is a favorite, it’s going to blow up in your face. Don’t come here with the mindset that they look for innovation and suggestion from anyone other than someone sitting at a desk pushing a pencil around. Is this place “safe”? No not really, people do what they want how they want if no management is around. I’ve heard of maintenance people climbing across metal beams with no harness just to get a job done and basically you’re told not to say anything and look the other way. People can easily get away with almost seriously injuring people because if a camera doesn’t catch it, it’s word against word and pretty much who’s liked more and who’s been here longer will win that argument. If you think differently like working smarter not harder definitely don’t come here. You’ll be seen as lazy and you won’t fit into the cliques at this place. You’ll also be bullied and ignored by your coworkers if you think differently. Everything they feed you during your training week and interview is pretty much a lie. Safety is not taken very serious, no room to grow into management, not inclusive(I’ve seen one colored person) and everything revolves around favoritism. I don’t know why I still work here to be honest. Oh wait it’s because the pays so good.
