Pros

Very moral and ethical employer. Appreciates thier employees and values thier residents. Very good company to work for. I work in Dietary and we are all very involved with the folks that live here. All the employees here, including administrative, seem to really care about hte pepole that live here.

Cons

Pay could be a bit better for hourly workers considering the surrounding market.

Pros

It has been a pleasure to work for such a forward thinking organization. I appreciate being a voice and not a number; someone who is looked to for her opinion. I need to feel like I am always moving forward and SRC not only says they are company that promotes personal growth they actually show it. I have had the opportunity to build an amazing team at a beautiful community. Spectrum does a fabulous at building amazing buildings but I truly believe that it is the culture of the company and the people that work and live in the buildings that make each of them a community. What an amazing feeling to walk through the front doors everyday and feel like you are at home.

Cons

I would like to see the communication from the home office to the communities improve. There tends to be a lot of assumptions regarding policies, procedures, forms, etc.... The individual leadership team members have monthly calls with their respective home office support but I would encourage if not monthly at least quarterly ALL department conference calls; everyone would have the opportunity to hear the same message at the same time.
