Pros

Good compensation for the work expected and decent benefits. The employees, supervisors and leads are all very welcoming and helpful and honestly want you to succeed,

Cons

Your success with the company will depend on your supervisor. Some will readily share tips and tricks that will boost your productivity; others will just email your stats once a week and expect you to figure out the rest. Management has their "favorites" when it comes to working on projects that exponentially increase productivity. The company policy is that opportunities to work these projects are based on rankings within the department, but every keystroke is recorded so if you can do basic addition it's clear that the policy is not followed. Furthermore, it's demoralizing to be told to your face that you rank too low to be considered when in fact you know that you are well above the threshold. Because shift bids and promotions are based on rank, if you are not regularly chosen to work special projects, the job will only be a paycheck (although admittedly a good one). If you get the wrong supervisor or aren't friends with the right people, the odds of it becoming a fulfilling career are negligible.

Pros

Spectrum is a diverse company that champions LGBT+ inclusion. Charter invests in its employees, offering tuition free education and competitive pay.

Cons

Wont allow remote work. Except when they do. They have remote work as an incentive program for customer service reps, billing agents, Will not allow other departments to work from home.

Pros

This is a great company to work for. The pay rate is good and the benefits are great. Free cable and internet, discounts on cell phone, health, dental, optical, tuition, and lots others. Most of the people are great to work with, and supervisors and managers seem to genuinely care. The job is typical call center work with one call after another.

Cons

The customers can be horrible, and taking call after call from upset people is exhausting. The vice president of the call center is a tyrant, and has no integrity. She tells her supervisors one thing then does the opposite herself. She does nothing but talk about how good she is at her job and how she knows what she is doing, but she never actually does. She makes assumptions about people and things which become her reality. She is harsh and unpredictable and often goes on these tangents telling people they are bad at their job. People are either afraid of her, or just outright avoid her because of how she is. You can feel the energy change when shes there. Many supervisors and some managers who have been there a long time are looking for other jobs because of her.
