Pros

It's fun, the other FA's are very nice and helpful, make a lot of money from credit cards and sales commission, pay is great. I was a little skeptical about the company at first but they really do take care of their employees I actually love my job and I've never said that about any work place.

Cons

Crew scheduling is probably the only thing I dislike about the job, they are very rude. Good thing your not on reserve for a long time with all the new hiring. Make sure you read and know your contract because they will try to get over on you.

Pros

The leadership at spirit is some of the best I have ever experienced or heard about. I have mostly interacted with leadership in the training department to be more specific. I know, without a doubt, our skillset as instructors is valued highly by our leadership. These are the kind of bosses that make you WANT to work effectively and efficiently. They supplement professional development and set you up for success. Spirit often talks about making customers into 'super fans' but the real secret is that they care for us so much, that we become 'super fans' and this leads to a great service/product for the customer. They invest in their people heavily. Also communication from execs to the lowest level and everywhere in-between, is great!

Cons

Airline job security. The industry fluctuates but you will find this at ANY airline. However, at spirit, this is much less of a worry.

Pros

Growing, improving, diverse, fun atmosphere, travel benefits, great health insurance, 401k, get to change people's opinions of what they've heard about Spirit in the past, unionized, newest plane's on the market

Cons

Overall reputation, no profit sharing, no flexibility in scheduling, start pay is $20 an hr, pilots do not have a contract, conflict between higher up's and pilots
