Pros

The culture is really positive and supportive. We have a lot of freedom to teach what and how we like.

Cons

Pieced together frameworks and hand-made resources instead of strong curriculum. I spent my first 4 years in the district with no curriculum, just outdated guides that didn’t have any of the supplemental resources.

Freedom to implement innovative ideas in the classroom. The student body consists of a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Very supportive staff members.

Cons

Some school or district wide decisions clearly made without sufficient input from teachers/students/parents. Handling of student behavior and technology issues can be questionable.

-Toxic Environment -Distrustful coworkers -Manipulative and Cold coworkers -Entrenched bullies get staff members fired -Management lacks character- AP is king of "double Speak" -AP incapable of providing logical or useful feedback -refuse to use staff members' skillsets -Bullying -Pretend to want change, then refuse to -HR is fake -too many cons to list all of them
