Pros

+ Challenging, interesting and dynamic work + Founders and colleagues that really care about the impact we're having—it's incredibly fulfilling to see that your effort translates to real outcomes for students (and mentors) + A team that is smart, hard-working, and intellectually curious = a great environment to learn and challenge yourself + People bring their authentic selves to work here. We are a super diverse group of ethnic backgrounds, social styles, interests. + International travel! We have a team offsite that brings together the Bangalore and SF office every year. I've been to 7 different countries with many people on the team which has been great.

Cons

We've grown rapidly this year and communication/information flows haven't always been perfect. This is my first time at a startup this size so I'm not sure how normal this is, but it can be a challenge.

Pros

- Great team; motivated, intelligent, and very caring people! - Lots of room for growth; It's a start up so there is always something that needs to be done and opportunities to learn skills that will help you improve your own work.

Cons

- Split office makes communication difficult and slow at times - Matrix organizational structure is a bit confusing at times in terms of who needs to be looped into what.

Springboard is all about learning and growth - for our students and employees alike. You embody our core value of “Open, Honest and Constructive” by calling out information flow; we’re definitely learning and growing as a company on this dimension :-) Thanks for your comments and all that you do for our mission!”. - Springboard People Team

What an awesome note, thank you! We are glad to see everybody working hard towards a supportive and learning culture. Being a startup does mean that the communication and planning needs to be very on point and detailed, but we also learn every day and appreciate all of your feedback and suggestions.
