Few opportunities for the lower ranks to advance. Doctors and executives get treated and paid far better than other employees. Not the cleanest place to work. Upper management outsources as much work as possible and does not have any qualms about laying off/firing employees who have been with them for decades and are excellent employees.

Although they tell you there is ample opportunity for career advancement, managers rarely leave so it is difficult to move up the ladder. Micromanagement is part of their operational strategy and includes choosing your words for meeting/greeting patients and every day exchanges with visitors and families.
