Pros

It’s a good job if you’re about to be homeless, otherwise not so much.

Cons

This is your typical for-profit healthcare company. They will smile through their teeth telling you how they care about patients, staff, community etc. all they care about is the bottom dollar. Keeping their board of directors happy and their HCA shareholders rich is priority #1. That’s why people who work here fondly refer to it as St. Dollar’s.

Pros

The checks don't bounce and some people are really great. The only way to get fired is failing a drug test.

Cons

Your director will be in meetings in all day. Get used to them being completely completely oblivious to how anything really works, or doesn't. There will be many call-ins. You will pull doubles. You will be called in on your days off. Expect to be lied to and treated as a commodity.

Pros

The health benefits and the 401K matching were the only highlights of the job. Other than that, you'll have to search for something to like about the place.

Cons

There's no leadership and no one really knows what's going on. Everyone gets rated straight down the middle no matter how well or poorly you perform. Managers don't step up and throw the problems back at the staff. What's the point of having managerial staff if they won't step up to the plate and help their people?
