      What it's like at Stamps from an acquired point of view

      Pros

      Knows how to take out competition Knows how to con customers Knows the value of layoffs Not ashamed of any of it

      Cons

      Swoops in and makes promises but quickly does a 180 Claims to care about employees and morale and backs those claims by laying off people Shareholders come before customers and employees Promotes based on saving face rather than acknowledging skills of employees, if there is any promoting to be had Blacklists those who speak up If you want a job, consider Stamps. If you want a career, run!

      Pros

      No pros except they give you few stamps for free

      Cons

      Very bad politics against their own employees. No management skills. They sabotage their own employees who tried to implement or at least improve new technologies like virtualization and cloud computing. No response from HR and no investigation was performed, so all are in the same bucket.

      Pros

      There is a strong and motivated group of employees who really care about doing the best thing for the customer and the company. Also, management recognizes the strong performers and is quick to place qualified people onto the management track.

      Cons

      I have never seen a more dishonest management team in all my 30 years in business. There are serious problems with the core business model, but management refuses to address them, choosing instead to trick the employees into believing that everything is fine.
