Pros

Stanley is an Employee owned business. The company is very flexible with your working hours. Stanley offers great benefits at very reasonable prices and strives to bring down cost for members. PTO and Sick time are one package, but you start off with 120 hours that can be used within the first year of hire. Stanley pays for you to learn and go to conferences to grow professionally. Being a part of the member owned company you get to know your making a difference for your company and get to see results at the end of the year. At the end of the day Stanley wants to see you succeed and then the company succeeds.

Cons

As any consulting company keeping track of your time to be as billable as possible. This is difficult sometimes, but Stanley does work well in finding you work to complete. Raises are fair, but could be higher when the company is successful.

Pros

- Employee owned company that doesn't make knee jerk reactions that publically traded companies may make. - You are compensated for the hours worked in most cases. - The office culture in Minneapolis is overall good, most all of the members in the office being great to work with. - Excellent benefits with several options for employees to purchase company stock. - Workload during my employment has been steady, and the office has grown in the past years. -You get involved in a wide variety of projects for a good number of different clients. - Management in the Minneapolis office is generally good.

Cons

- Executive leadership seems very distant and disconnected from our office. Though most decisions they make seem to be good. - Vertical promotion opportunities seem limited. - Bonus structure when compared to competitors is lacking. -

Pros

Stanley works on a variety of projects and makes it easy to find what field you prefer. The benefits are great. Besides the usual healthcare and retirement, they offer continuing education opportunities and certifications. The COVID 19 response has been very well done and there hasn't been a push to move back into the office prematurely.

Cons

Because this is a member-owned company there isn't a lot of money spent on "extra" perks like breakroom stuff or bonuses. There is also a little bit of trial by fire for the first few years, but thats pretty normal for the whole industry.
