Great product, Toxic workplace

Pros

- Consistent and stable pay - Gain great tech experience - Some great employees and customers - Women are the leaders of the company

Cons

- Extremely toxic workplace (guilt trips for taking vacation or sick time, reprimanded for discussing anything related to pay/salary with coworkers, meeting with management for asking for overtime pay, etc) - Expect to work on Christmas Eve, the day after Thanksgiving, and many major federal holidays - No options for remote work - No transparency from company/management to employees or clients - High employee turnover - Encourages people to post fake positive reviews to drown out the negative ones - Micromanagement - Encourages people to mislead customers and not be honest with them about bugs, developments, etc. - Very little benefits

Pros

I have been employed by Starnik since 2014. I started as a Solutions Analyst and currently work as the Solutions Analyst Manager. Additional responsibilities include HR, recruiting, and implementations. Pros include the following: • Competitive pay – pay is based on individual performance, in one year I received three raises. The more responsibility you take on successfully, the better your compensation. • Great work life balance – my schedule is 8:30 to 5:30 and I have the ability to come in early or stay late. Working outside of regular office hours is not required or expected. It is up to my discretion. PTO is accrued on a monthly basis and I have always been able to take off any time that I have requested. • Open door policy – if I have any problems or concerns, work or personal, I know that managements’ doors are always open. • My opinions are valued and management works closely with me to develop new skills and empower me. • Excellent growth potential (personally and for the company). • Co-workers are like family. • Benefits available to the employees have increased since I have been with the company; I have a retirement account where the company matches my contribution. • I truly believe in our software and love our customers! I never dread coming to work and enjoy what I do!

Cons

Cons include the following: • My experiences have been favorable. If I have a concern I am able to go directly to management.

Management Won't Write Down the Fake Promises!

Pros

Job stability was the only pro as the company was growing, and they needed people to share the insane workloads.

Cons

The management is 100% fake and evil. They lie blatantly about your future growth. It's all a scam to make you work brutal, exhausting, and stressful hours so they can achieve business growth. It was a ridiculous and unethical approach. Please stay away and don't trust the management here if you have to join.
