Pros

enthusiastic and energetic people, especially in data collections. Passionate about the work they do.

Cons

abuse of these lower level enthusiastic and energetic people. Constant promise of salary increases, promotion, and improved communication. No intention of any of this, just intent on making money for the equity firm and getting what they can from people. Look at all the redundancies and the attrition. A company that truely does not care for it's people

Pros

Working in sports is fun

Cons

I made the mistake of coming here because I thought STATS was an established, stable player in the sports tech market & would be a good place to work for a software engineer who is a sports fan and wants good WLB. I was wrong. This company is hemorrhaging clients. Projects start up and shut down based on the daily mood of the C-suite. Compensation was below market - I naively thought this would imply a more relaxed culture, but now I realize it's just a reflection of the philosophy of the parent company & the weak growth of STATS. Engineers - do not come here. If you want to work in sports, go to a newer player that is growing fast and actually values its engineers.

Pros

Sports is an interesting application of CV/ML

Cons

Under-qualified managers in the AI department, disregard to quality, no career opportunity, lack of vision and interest of the product team. This dangerous mix results in a toxic environment and a high employee turnover.
