Pros

A couple of the staff I worked with are great folks.

Cons

Low pay. Local management less than honest about hours and responsibilities. Lots of in-fighting and back stabbing. Struggled to get needed training in areas and clients having at times unrealistic expectations-largely caused and amplified by local Stefanini management not supporting techs. My position has had multiple turnovers before and after I was there. They taut there healthcare benefits but there are no local clinics to use.

Hello, and thank you for your honest review. Stefanini does as much as we can to help our off site technicians get the training they need and deserve. Also know that all clients provide the training they think is necessary to do the job as well. Did you bring up your need for additional training to your client or Stefanini manager? Possibly even to HR? Were you unable to locate helpful documentation in your knowledge base articles or through the free Stefanini University? All of these are presented in both the Employee Handbook and in New Hire Orientation. We would love to understand your issues further as we do not take statements like this lightly. Thank you again for your time. Sincerely, Nick- Human Resources

Pros

Good coworkers who treat each other well

Cons

Team level management and above really could care less about their employees future in the company as long as the employee tows the line. Performance, whether high or low is not awarded appropriately, as in pay raises are a joke and role advancement is non-existant. I was there for 4 years full time, worked 2 different projects, became a mentor, a SME and assisted in training new hires and was constantly passed over for resource positions. I was good enough to train people, but apparently not good enough to lead by their standards.

Hello, I’m very sorry to hear that you felt recognition was lacking during your time with Stefanini. Recently, Stefanini has brought in an Organizational Development manager whose focus is to streamline our hiring process as well as create structured career paths for our employees. I definitely think this will help with the frustrations you were seeing during your time here. While this won’t be a quick fix, it is definitely a work in progress and recognized by our management team overall as a high priority fix. You seem to have been given a lot of great opportunity during your time with Stefanini, and it’s unfortunate that you weren’t able to make it to the management position you were ultimately looking for. Stefanini is truly great at recognizing the work their employees put in by moving them into more advanced roles as much as we can. I appreciate your feedback, and wish you luck in your future endeavors! Alison, HR

OK company, Bad pay

Pros

Good entry level positions for those starting out in IT. Benefits are good. Some lower managers are actually pretty understanding, it is upper management that needs the boot.

Cons

Low pay compared to other companies. Upper Management sets unrealistic goals. Most of the work is being outsourced to Manila.
