Pros

The only pro I can think of was how easy it was too get hired. I had no interview, not one question, took a short test and that was it. Training was ok the first 2 days, after that you didn't know what you were doing one break to the next.

Cons

I took this position as a temp solution. By Friday afternoon I walked out. They were totally disorganized, nobody knew what was going on, denied lunches and breaks, talked to horribly, disrespectful, and I would advise everyone to stay away. As a professional in the customer service industry for 15+ years I am seasoned and good at what I do. I had heard great things about the company and thought this would be a way to get a full time permanent position here. By Friday off the first week, I didn't want it anymore. I was given 8 didn't schedule the first 4 days! We were forced on the phones with no quality training, then penalized for asking questions or taking a few moments to note accounts. Then, I was deemed a lunch altogether and told my training class was my lunch and to get back to work. The last time I checked I did not work in a sweat shop I got an hour lunch. Nope, it's free pizza during training so that is your lunch, at least you get paid for it. ( less than half of what I made at my last job). I do not eat junk food at all......pizza really? I have NEVER in my life walked out of a job until now. We were rounded up, herded like cattle, and tossed on a phone. Management talks down to you a dumb because they just hired anybody. Disorganized, clueless, disrespectful, distasteful, company I have ever set foot in.

Pros

Most of the toilets flush. Benefits are great if you can afford them on your meager salary.

Cons

Where do I start? Let's see: Low pay. A ridiculous "points" system that is designed to punish the call-center workforce for the most ridiculous, negligible infractions---infractions which don't even matter in the real world. Micromanagement to the extreme. Grossly underqualified people are always picked to be members of management. Standards of hiring are very low. Unintelligent co-workers. Favoritism. Childish, daycare-like environment. Prescription drug abuse has occurred on the premises, with witnesses to the event, and management is aware yet does nothing to confront the problem. A known, convicted thief and criminal works on the call floor with clients' and patients' credit card numbers and nobody has taken steps to monitor or terminate that person, either. This is nowhere you want to work.

Pros

Financial success, company is growing, CEO is trying to change the culture

Cons

The field base locations are great. If you work in corporate (Northbrook) it is really bad. There is constant turnover in sales and customer service. HR has the highest turnover of any dept. It is a train wreck. The new HRVP breeds favoritism. You don't have to be good just just have to be liked.
