Pros

Can't think of any. It's a gas station job. Usually pros for me are the people I work with to make the work more tolerable however this was not the case.

Cons

People who work at this store seem to work harder than they should for the pay they get. While it can be good to have high standards it got to the point where even if you were not doing anything for 5 minutes because everything was done and no customers have entered the store you would get dirty looks from coworkers or management. They want you to wipe down counters every 5 minutes pretty much even if you just got through wiping the counters down just so you can look busy. There's a lot I can say about this company and I've worked at multiple stores and they all are basically the same however I'm only posting this because glassdoor won't even let me see reviews anymore without an account and now they seem to require accounts to make some kind of posting as well when accessing this website from a computer so I took this opportunity to write something about one of my prior employers who I felt treated me unfairly. I let them know about health issues going in and that while I had no proof at the time that I was working on obtaining said proof. I believe they got impatient because I was unable to keep up with the other employees due to my health issues and I started to get write ups for not completing tasks. some write ups were also because I didn't inform the team that I wouldn't get my tasks done which is false and I informed my assistant manager. They eventually terminated me due to a confrontation with a customer over the sale of tobacco of which I was unable to properly identify the customer due to the customers behavior and instead they chose to take the customers side in the situation. They also don't seem to follow state and federal law when it comes to the sale of tobacco and alcohol and often in situations where I felt the sale should not have gone through another employee made the sale anyway. They do not have any formal training or computer based training either and a majority of gas station I have worked at not only have this but have the TAM training as a requirement that teaches you how to handle the sales of tobacco and alcohol, this store did not, none of them did. Apparently this chain also bought out the Bradley's in the state so if you've worked at a Bradley's things have only mildly gotten better.
