Pros

Decent people to work with and pretty good benefits.

Cons

I was one of very few competent people within the entire California offices. I was loaded with work for years while the incompetents would screw up and have work taken away and given to others who could handle their workload. Their is a major lack of any sort of management and everyone is given a tiny 2% raise and we're meant to act like it's a big gift. The real kicker is the incompetents all get the same 2% raise as the ones busting their butts to make sure everything is done.

Free fruit and drinks, good amount of PTO

Cons

It's obvious that firm management and HR do not feel that they need or want to share the benefits of the firms profits with staff. When they present their meager raises (never more than 2%) they act like they are giving you the Showcase on the Price Is Right. One can feel when you are being rewarded with gratitude or when you are being thrown a pittance to keep you quite. It's the intention and the energy of the management and HR that makes this firm a negative place to work.

Pros

Nice professional environment with great peers. Because they are a national firm the salaries CAN BE a little more competitive than some of the local firms (depending on which office you are in).

Cons

Company is moving away from an environment where they care and value the individual employees and is more focused on putting money in the partners pockets at the expense of the employees. It is becoming more difficult being able to trust anything they are telling you. They pay for the employees insurance but the cost to cover their family is outrageous.
