If culture, trust, and competent leadership are important to you, keep looking.
Pros
The pay is wonderful, the benefits package is excellent, you can get your degree quickly, there is unlimited overtime.
Cons
Management is poor. Expectations are unclear and change on the drop of a dime. The criteria to move up doesn't make sense. Leadership is next to never on the floor with their people. Management lacks the competencies to lead, they are simply task completers. The Management team is promoted based off politics and who will be the most likely to agree blindly to what second tier management proposes without any level of critical thinking or care for unintended consequences to the students or employee moral. When feedback is asked for by employees, you have to pull teeth to get them to tell you what you can improve on. When feed back is finally given, it does not make sense and is often the same thing you were told you are amazing at last week. There is a culture of silence- there is a strong fear of retaliation. Leadership isn't respected and has a reputation among the teams to being incompetent, doing nothing, and not listening to their teams. If you value clear communication, clear expectations, growth, leadership vs. management, positive team culture, feeling heard, and feeling valued then keep looking. If you value stroking the right egos, if you are great at staying silent and keeping your opinions to yourself, if you are great at manipulating numbers and reporting, you will advance quickly. If you want a stable well paying job where you don't need to do much of anything to advance, this is the place for you,
