The pay for the labor you do is underpaid. Corporate fitness is just hard to make money for a decent living.

Requires investment of employees attention and drive for sales and further education in anatomy. Time consuming, parking could be a factor for work commute. Hands on with general public without company benefits for health insurance.

Not much training support, confusing commission structure

Hours are not guaranteed. Multiple people scheduling clients so you never know what's happening with your schedule, which also affects your pay. There are no breaks in between clients. No break room, no place to put your things, and one bathroom in the entire facility. There is this nonsense where they pay you separate amounts depending on what you're doing, (stretch pay vs training pay, also used for co meetings) which bites you in the butt later when you attempt collect unemployment, as they have your pay listed at the training pay. There's a ridiculous non-compete to lock you in for a year and if you try to leave before that they'll charge you for the training. And also you're not allowed to work at a stretch lab in a 15 mile radius for a year after you've completed your year working with them. It's ridiculous.

Toxic and unchecked management, emphasis on sales regardless of clients’ best interests, extremely low pay and the AUDACITY to demand flexologists pay for a portion of their training while demanding they already have relevant qualifications for hiring. Exploitative pay levels, cult-like training structure, acceptance of sexual harassment in workplace, especially from clients.
