Pros

- MDs are very smart, have great patient feedback, very respectful office staff - M-F 8:30am- 5pm. Sometimes approved OT at time a half if very busy

Cons

As a nurse; - about 10% patient care that are very basic short visits- wound checks post procedure, suture removal. Some teaching appts. Light therapy. - 90% sitting at computer answering extreme high volume of patient cases in EMR via phone calls. In addition to the 100’s of live phone calls that come in. Patient education over the phone. - patient abuse is normal part of the job: you are blamed that there are no appts // othe

Little to no growth

Pros

5% Annual bonus, decent health benefits package.

Cons

There have been many changes within the last 5 years. You can be here 10 years in the same capacity before receiving any opportunity to grow or promotion. Technology is fairly outdated in comparison to other companies of the same size. Management is more focused on how to keep their providers happy by shutting them up when they whine as opposed to finding ways to meet ever growing technology needs that will overall keep the entire company progressive and simultaneously keep their them happy. Turnover rate is very high also. Since the original founder left, Management slowly but surely has gotten rid of those "originals" by forcing them out. It's been pretty obvious and overall about 80% of the department arent happy. All urgent centers are pretty much the same they are willing to hire ANYONE and I mean just ANYONE to be patient care representatives and it shows. The clinical operations team is completly clueless along with IT. No sense of direction or effective methods. These departments have more of a reactive versus proactive approach.
