Pros
They recognize and reward talent. If you work hard and show a true interest in getting ahead, management will pay attention and reward you. They are very responsive to their employees personal difficulties and will meet you halfway in trying to solve a problem.
Cons
Suntrust is a very large corporation which can make it somewhat difficult to stand out. Upper management makes decisions which affect entire departments but they have little comprehension of what damage those decisions make. So often the decision to eliminate a department might make sense "on paper" but in reality it disrupts routine and flow and in the end defeats the original purpose.
