Pros

Patients...and nothing more to add

Cons

For profit, long hours for very little pay. This is the largest hospice company in Colorado and pays its CNAS the least amongst other companies. Corporate is far more concerned about image and being present in facilities as opposed to quality care. You are expected to see a minimum of 10 patients a day. Never, ever compensated for going above and beyond made some candy at monthly meetings. Be prepared to work every holiday and earning an extra 3 dollars as opposed to time and a half.

Pros

The patients and their families. Spending time supporting those within their end of life journey.

Cons

Toxic work environment. Management using shaming and cultivates fear-based work. Increasingly micro-managed with managers who promote a culture of "keep your head down and shutup."

Pros

Appear committed to patients and staff. Loved local team. Fantastic physicians to work with.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations of staff. Cheap and always short staffed. Spent a ton of money on office but refused to hire enough nurses or CNAs , was unable to get supplies for patients needs. Ended up personally purchasing supplies for patients. Was never actually off work was always on call.
