Bad place to work
Pros
Good support from co-workers (not necessarily managers)
Cons
Work/life balance is not applicable. Work 8-10hrday multiple days/wk and that’s expected. Do not pay time and a half for holidays and you’re expected to work every holiday unless you request it off and use your own vacation time. Hourly pay is the lowest in the area but yearly is not awful because of all the overtime you have to work. Patients are taken off mental health medications, heart, respiratory or any others and replaced with cheaper medications that may cause increased sleepiness because they are cheaper. Employees are sent a monthly email with a medication cost breakdown and are told they are doing a good job with cost because we’re keeping the cost at less than $5/patient/day total.
