They lay off people every other month. They operate on an environment of fear: they make you feel like if you don't pump out enough work, you'll be laid off too. Promotions are highly unlikely because you are competing with nearly a hundred other engineers. They stopped their drafting business with a company located in India, moved the work in-house, expected nearly the same output. So they have ridiculous expectations that 80% of the department isn't close to reaching. They want to cut costs, yet their non-innovative CEO is getting paid upwards of $14mil every year. Maybe she should cut her salary instead. Everything we use is made by Tesla or SolarCity. This company has no innovation or proprietary work that they can actually put their name on. Counting down the days until this place goes bankrupt OR I get laid off.
