Pros

They allow you to drink beer at your desk during business hours.

Cons

Poorly organized. Management is unprofessional, with no regard to your personal development. Politics and "Who you know" is how you advance in the company rather than skill set, work ethic and dedication. Oh and they compromised everyone in the companies personal information including social security because someone just emailed HR and asked for it. (I still have issues when filing taxes because of this.).

Pros

People are cool. Sometimes they give free food. Location is near public transportation, in downtown Denver.

Cons

They lay off people every other month. They operate on an environment of fear: they make you feel like if you don't pump out enough work, you'll be laid off too. Promotions are highly unlikely because you are competing with nearly a hundred other engineers. They stopped their drafting business with a company located in India, moved the work in-house, expected nearly the same output. So they have ridiculous expectations that 80% of the department isn't close to reaching. They want to cut costs, yet their non-innovative CEO is getting paid upwards of $14mil every year. Maybe she should cut her salary instead. Everything we use is made by Tesla or SolarCity. This company has no innovation or proprietary work that they can actually put their name on. Counting down the days until this place goes bankrupt OR I get laid off. Check out their investor relations report, where they outline the enormous amount of debt they'll never be able to pay off with the executive team taking huge chunks of cash whenever the stock goes up and the CEO getting an inflated salary while her lowly workers worry about if they'll have a job the next week.

Pros

So toxic. Nothing positive. No pros.

Cons

Massive layoffs and the company not heading in the right direction. There is ZERO job security. Politically not headed for positive. Stocks are tanking and hiring is in a FREEZE. Layoffs in every department are going on. They are preparing to run at small scale and force the ones left behind multiple job roles. Consolidation of leadership positions and laying off to make their numbers look better. They are also blocking installs from happening that aren’t “profitable” and currently focusing on a quick cash grab in markets that install and PTO faster. Get your resumes ready and be prepared for layoffs. Don’t believe the company’s messaging that everything is headed in right direction.
