Overworked, Underpaid, Growing "Out of Control " Pains

The company means well and the people are honest, hardworking, kind individuals. Recaps on business reports and company goals are shared with employees Middle managers sympathize and admit to the overwhelming workload.

Cons

Inadequate training for internal teams, and inconsistent training for sales reps. Unhealthy focus on growth without adequate staffing of support teams. Poor implementation of new protocols Poor documentation of new protocols Questionable legal practices No real outlet for employee feedback Frustration, stress, and burnout are festering within this company...and we need more than a recommendation to meditate.

Young, collaborative environment; some individuals who are passionate about the environmental aspect of the mission (and some, unfortunately, who aren't at all); decent benefits; some opportunity for advancement, although strategic approach to internal networking is necessary; creature comforts (snacks/frequent lunches/happy hours).

Cons

Rapid growth at times translates to poorly defined policies - the speed with which the 'norm' changes can be difficult to adopt into ones day-to-day work. Big, strategic decisions made at the executive and senior management level don't always take into consideration how it will effect regular procedures.

Cons

Always know that what you did yesterday, happened yesterday. You must remain open to constructive criticism. Know that you are involved with an industry that seems to change between breakfast and your afternoon break.
