I don’t have a choice but to work here

Pros

You get 2 free fruit every Wednesday and processed bread every morning.

Cons

No benefits, no career growth. People here are stuck in same level for 3+ years, work is not very challenging, no industry-transferable skills, lazy coworkers, poverty-low base salary barely survivable. The company is comprised of 1. New grads who couldn’t find another job 2. Laid off employees from very reputable companies who cannot find another job 3. A mix of employees ranging from “no company in the right mind would hire them” to decent. For a “tech” company people surprisingly come off very unintelligent here. The majority of roles here are bait-and-switch, high schoolers could do this job. A lot of employees here stay here for years not because they enjoy it, but because no other place will or wants to hire them. Its pathetic that they need to inflate their overall Glassdoor rating with fake reviews.

Pros

I worked under Manager of Support Sales with the top grossing team. It was a incredible valuable learning experience in several key areas. She provided excellent discipline, fostering a structured environment that helped me understand the role throughly. Her insights into Taiwanese business culture were incredibly invaluable, offering a nuanced perspective that enhanced our approach with clients. Additionally, she ensured our team had a thorough understanding of the process of sales, accounting, engineering, compliance, hardware technology, which was crucial for our role as Inside Sales. Her guidance and mentorship were instrumental in my personal development as a professional.

Cons

Unfortunately, the higher-ups or other sales teams? often seemed disconnected from our team's contributions and needs. Despite our hard work, there were concerns regarding compensation. I always had to hide daily during lunch to avoid other sales teams. We worked in fear and then team members voluntarily worked overtime or skipped lunch to meet deadlines, we were sometimes micromanaged and reprimanded for going above and beyond to assist colleagues and clients (not our manager’s fault). This created a somewhat demotivating atmosphere and undermined the sense of teamwork we aimed to cultivate. as beneficial for my professional growth due to her effective leadership and dedication to our team's development.

Pros

Job security and hard working employees

Cons

literally everything. Bad pay, lame benefits. zero work/life balance. You’re expected to work extra hours to meet business demands yet every tool used is ancient. I’ve never worked at a company so backwards before.
