      Pros

      I recommend this work place for anyone that is fresh out of college new grad. You do get good experience and the opportunity you needed. There comes great reward for talented and self motivated young folk. You will good salary raise and good title change/ promotion if you give all you have. The experience you get in here will set yourself to a better work place for tomorrow.

      Cons

      There is a strong Chinese culture in this company. It took time to get adjusted to the culture, you may not find everything that makes sense. But overall the Pros still bigger than the Cons in my opinion. So try to adapt and try understand the culture will be my advice.

      Pros

      1. Decent opportunity and flexibility to learn and accomplish what you want. 2. Good advancement and salary depending on how much you willing to put in. 3. Company have potential but needs a re-org to replace non-qualify manager on all level.

      Cons

      1. Unreasonable hours and performance metric. 2. Most upper management don't have right skill set to manage. 3. Only 10% of people really working and keeping the company alive.

      Some very sharp people work at superMicro

      Cons

      You are expected to work 6 days a week, They will not hire people with small children because it takes away from your work responsibilities. They actually turned down great potential hire that everyone wanted to hire just because he said he was looking for a company that offered work life balance The hiring manager said to me "find me someone that is single, can do the job, will work for nothing and we can drive into the ground..." "I don't want to hire some that's better than me and can take my job. If I lose my job then you will lose your too.." That is the running norm at SuperMicro
