This is illegal. You must be at work by 9am and stay until 6pm. You cannot work through lunch and leave early. You cannot negotiate a different schedule. No work from home. IT professionals who work more than 8 hours a day are not paid overtime. This is illegal in California. You will only be promoted if you work Saturdays. Most people working Saturdays aren't really doing anything but being seen at work on a Saturday. The CEO takes note of this. If you are female, some employees may not take you seriously. No innovation. No new ideas. No changes if it means spending money instead of saving.
