Pros

•100% Remote/most positions or hybrid positions available, •Health benefits are superior quality, and a generous time off program is available. •Extremely generous 401K plan is available along with ongoing educational opportunities on money management. •Comprehensive wellness program available to employees. If employee participates a significant discount on medical/dental insurance is offered. •Major focus on career growth and development, when your goal is to move your career forward in a corporate environment this company offers the tools to help you succeed. •On-going educational opportunities both internally and externally, •Paid university benefits, Company does try to promote from within. •Mentorship program/company very invested in this program and encourages participation at all levels. This program is well structured, and the employee is assigned to one person for 12 months. Many learning experiences and opportunities are just a small part of the mentoring program. •Employee Inclusion Groups, EIG, available to all staff. Company is extremely focused on diversity and encourages participation during work hours. EIG's are also very structured and allow employees to learn new skills while participating in the EIG's. •Company is very insightful and has recently identified the lack of diversity within the corporate management level. There is a comprehensive plan in place to make changes from the very top on down. A significant effort is in place with the end goal to achieve diversity from the very top on down through the entire corporation. Superior HealthPlan and Centene want to strengthen our success and know that in order to do so the organization must reflect the same diverse population which we currently serve. •There is also a nice program that allows staff time paid off for community service volunteering. •The company does offer surveys multiple times a year with focus on overall satisfaction with the workplace.as well with one's direct leadership team. Survey format allows employees to write comments related to observations and experiences related to the leadership team. This data is reviewed at many distinct levels and changes are implemented when leadership would benefit from additional guidance. Feedback is always encouraged.

Cons

•Leadership skills and experience vary from department to department. •Most positions require some college education. •High turnover rate noted in certain departments, per employees this is due to poor leadership and large workload as well as limited training opportunities. •Annual bonus rules recently changed. Now the bonus is available to certain pay grades which leaves a significant number of employees without this opportunity. This has caused some animosity among peers working within certain departments.

Awful

Pros

Somewhat flexible. Remote work available

Cons

Horrible training. Micromanagement. Management pretends to listen, but responds with the fake, ",nothing they can do" attitude. Doesn't pay NEARLY enough for the job requirements. There's no way it will last. Another example of a business who goes down slowly because no one understands their job. (Due to no fault of their own)
