Suralink is on the path from start up to full blown SaaS mainstay in several target verticals. Rapid growth requires a lot of organizational energy, effort and adaptation, especially with a small team. Thus, everyone's individual contribution has a felt impact on the team.
This means that there is a baseline expectation of consistent effort and integrity. Suralink is not a hyper-financed tech company where employees are just numbers that can optionally coast under the radar. We don't overhire, and we don't lay off. We are a passionate and involved team of contributors and that is a core aspect of the culture and organizational vision. And these are also characteristics we look for in new team members.
I acknowledge that these may be considered 'cons' to any prospective employee looking for a big company/team wherein they can coast or bring to bear minimum effort.
Personally I see these as pros, and this culture is why I chose Suralink over other offering employers.
