Pros
Can start with no payroll experience, and learn a lot quickly about payroll, technology, and customer service. Starting pay and benefits are very good. You can get experience doing different things that might not normally be associated with a CSR role. Lots of opportunities to grow your skill-set. Fellow co-workers are quality people, and most care about their job and work hard.
Cons
Understaffing makes for a grueling work environment. Lack of training and vague, inconsistent processes make job difficult. Company puts short-term monetary gain ahead of long term customer satisfaction or employee retention. Good company, but will never be great.
