Pros

5 weeks of traininig before actually making calls - gets you prepared Opportunity to make money in several ways - if you really work hard you can make a lot very quickly Good serviceto sell for the right kind of businesses No cold calling (except accountants) A lot of freedom to negotiate with prospects Good time off benefits Expectations of work are clear and challenging Casual dress code

Cons

No time off in December-January Cubes could be bigger Most co-workers are great- some complain too much about strange things Seem to have periods with overwhelming call volume in customer care which trickles in to sales 401k match could be better Health plan is pricey- hoping that changes with Paychex acquisition Getting new customers on board could be easier- many steps in the process

Pros

Benefits are decent, although they started using United which did not cover anything. 401k is ok Ok base salary, about average Payroll guy is really helpful if you have questions

Cons

Micromanage you to death No room for growth Quotas were outrageous Comp plan never stayed consistant, so we made less and less money every quarter Management is so lost, especially in sales- had 4 managers in 3 years Payroll system often has technical errors so you get a million calls from current customers telling you that you are responsible, because you sold it to them. Customer Care couldn't care less No time off during Xmas, because 4th quarter is the biggest time in payroll Bought out by Paychex which is the worst payroll company to deal with Deal with a lot of tax notices, because tax team are not certified tax professionals
