Pros

They have a good training program when they are honest about what you are going to be doing. The benefits are ok

Cons

The management do not listen to you needs or even care about you as a person. The pay sucks and there is no room to move up. Work from home is a great thing if it is managed properly and in this care it was not

Pros

I work at Sutherland Global Services for nearly 10 months. I gained a lot of customer service experience in a short amount of time. There is weekly team meeting, coaching and additional training. I did leave them for another call center due to the pay and benefits. Without working at Sutherland Global Services I am not sure I would have made it this far.

Cons

Some of the challenges of working here is the high pressure and stress that comes from a customer service job. There is no 401K match or Pension and the pay cam be better for the amount of work that is required.

Some of your points really caught my eye, and it is nice to see you were able to gain some useful experience during your time with us. It is important that Sutherland invests the time and effort into training employees, promoting growth and advancement. Working in customer service definitely has its challenges. Pros

the people I suffered with daily, co workers..... thats it.

Cons

lied to from the very start. Interniew said I would be working for Liberty Mutual and Actually (represented) Met Life.. Met Life is a good omany and should distance themselves from Sutherland before they manage to ruin their credibilty. I think many of the current and prior employees have solid grounds to file a class action lawsuit. I'm all in if they do. human resources and my manager misrepresented paperwork, divulged personal medical inofrmation to co workers and just out right lied to cover their rear ends. as low as low can get. yea it is a pay check, I would rather starve. RUN RUN RUN AWAY there isnt enough room to even start to touch on all the negatives. Personally I have better things to do. Worst place I have ever encountered for a job. Pretty on the outside but whats inside is very very ugly. Met Life would be wise to cut all ties to Sutherland is a pig in lipstick
